Dear Friends,
I just returned from a visit to Aruba where I participated in the Fudacion Autismo
Aruba's first conference (http://www.autismoaruba.org/). Yes, the beach was lovely,

them? Kind, hospitable, cosmopolitan, multi-lingual! Four languages are spoken in
Aruba! So, for someone like me who stims on foreign tongues, I was in HEAVEN! In one
conversation, I picked up English, Spanish, Dutch, and the very special language of
Papiemento. Continue..

Self disclosure is a moment when you share information about your diagnosis with with others. Full disclosure means that you actually tell someone that you are autistic. Partial disclosure means that you share related information, but don't name your diagnosis outright. For example, you might choose to say that you are sensitive to loud noises in some situations, rather than fully disclose. It's good to know you have options.
